Michael Klein Audio Designs Dybbuk Sammy Duet Signature Overdrive Pedal

Overview
Dybbuk is the result of a long collaboration with Sammy Duet, and by design is made to allow him to capture and refine his signature tone into a wide variety of amplifiers. It was also important that Dybbuk also be versatile enough to allow any guitarist to sculpt their sound with this carefully voiced overdrive pedal.

Construction and connections
Sammy and I experimented extensively with component selection to maximize the feel and sound he was searching for. We ended up with a combination of operational amplifiers, precision metal film resistors, WIMA polyester film caps, Lumberg audio and DC jacks, tight tolerance MLCC caps, and audio-grade Nichicon Fine Gold electrolytic caps. It also uses sealed Alpha pots, which help keep the pots from getting noisy from dust or humidity on the carbon track.

Connecting the Dybbuk is self-explanatory but note the power jack is the industry standard 2.1mm “Boss style” center negative 9VDC connection. DO NOT connect to higher than 9VDC!
