Tech Notes: Guitar is very clean with hardly any play wear. There are a few small finish scratches that show up if you really look for them under the light, but the guitar is quite clean and plays great with no issues. The original owner removed the pickguard and toggle switch washer to show off more of the fantastic top on the guitar, but they are included and if you prefer them on the guitar let us know and we'll ship the guitar with them re-installed. The neck is slim and super comfortable. The guitar is setup nicely with 10's in E standard and plays great. The guitar comes with the case, paperwork, and case candy. The back of the guitar is a dark navy blue but it looks closer to black in most lighting.

Alnico V magnets capture the subtle variations in true humbucker tone, thanks to historically accurate "unmatched" bobbins. Plug into your favorite amp, and experience smooth low-end response, complex midrange crunch, and sweet-sounding highs. These pickups sound great clean or they can be used to push your amp into overdrive for the fat, smoky sound you can only get with a humbucker. Burstbucker Pro pickups are wax potted to minimize feedback and noise.

Dip switches give you access to over 100 tonal options
Les Paul Standards are some of the most sonically versatile electric guitars Gibson has ever offered. This guitar's tone and volume controls are a push-pull design, and five internal dip switches determine how these controls work. By setting these dip switches to your preference, you can access coil splits, coil taps, and a highpass filter for each pickup; determine if you want the pickups to be in or out of phase; and even engage a transient suppression circuit for avoiding unwanted output peaks when recording direct.
