Condition: Good. This bass has certainly accumulated a fair amount of wear over the past 60 years, mostly as tarnished hardware and chips, scratches and dents across the whole instrument, the heaviest wear being seen on the headstock and back of the neck where some finish has worn away. The only original parts that have been replaced are the volume pot as well as both knobs. These imperfections do not affect the playability or functionality of the instrument. The 3 way tone switch doesn't make much a difference in the sound of the bass. It seems to be functioning, but I can't hear a major difference between the positions
