Used Gibson Les Paul Standard 1998 Wine Red - Gold Hardware

For sale we have a really clean and beautiful Les Paul Standard in a hard to find wine red color with original factory gold hardware. The guitar is quite clean and plays wonderfully with no issues. There are shallow scratches in the clear coat throughout the guitar consistent with honest mild play wear. The guitar does not have any serious damage or cosmetic defects. We have tried to highlight any noticeable cosmetic blems in the photos but please message us with any questions

One quirk about this guitar is it came from the factory with NO side dot markers on the binding on the neck. We originally assumed the neck might've been refretted or the binding replaced, but there are no signs of that whatsoever. Everything on this guitar is factory original (except the straplocks, original strap buttons are in the case), but it seems they forgot to put side dots on the guitar from the factory. We verified the authenticity with Gibson and there's no real explanation for the lack of side dots besides it slipped through QC at the factory back in '98.
