The 698 is those for truly want the “full klone” experience from the exact diode type and voltage, down to both capacitor and resistor values AND material type. 

For those familiar with my main line klone “The Klon-a-pin,” This has more of a “warmer” some say more vintage vibe to it. The 698 is a great choice for those looking to drive blues amps, and solid state amps that could use more detailed but perfectly compressed overdriven sound.

-1n34a NOS Germanium diodes tested at nearly exact .35 forward voltage

-a mix of Polyester film, tantalum, and electrolytic capacitors
